I believe we are all in agreement that we live in a troubled world with all the uncertainties, unrest and tensions that we contend with everyday. To face the world alone is scary , consuming, and intimidating. The primary goal for Building Foundations is to provide support to women during her transition from a world of uncertainties, unrest and tensions.

Goals for 2009

Provide assistance to women leaving transitional housing

*Deposit for housing costs

*Assistance with Furshings and household items

*Assistance with moving costs

*Assistance with storage

*Create partnerships with local places of worship

Initial screening process to determine services needed

Rejuvenation
Meditation, non-traditional counseling sessions, spiritual healing

Financial Empowerment
Resources and training in money mangement

Bridging the Gap
Support to assist high schools and college age young women in their healing transition

One Step up Housing
Assistance in finding permanent housing and home ownership opportunities

Artist in Community-
In our efforts to assist women in communiy to be finacially secure, Building Foundations will include hand made items for purchase from women in our global community .
